Mexican Summer is an independent American music label from Brooklyn , New York , founded in 2008 by Kemado Records .

history

Mexican Summer was founded in 2008 by Kemado Records as a label for limited releases by music groups, which were not included in the catalog of the mother label, with the aim of being able to present them to the public.

In 2010, the Mexican Summer label achieved its best-known and most important release to date with the album Crazy For You by the US rock band Best Coast , which was able to establish itself in the British and American charts.
