The shape of the Dupli Casa was mainly defined and expanded from the outline of the previous building. Due to the additions to the previous building, an unusual outline was created, which was duplicated , spatially modified and raised vertically, rotated by 135 °. The three-storey building has a living space of almost 1200 m² and is built on a floor area of 569 m². In the middle there is a large intermediate area, which is centered in a two-story lobby. Due to its location, the house has a view of the old town of Marbach with the German Literature Archive on the opposite side of the Neckar .
