Dustin Moskovitz Aaron (* 22. May 1984 in Gainesville , Florida ) is an American IT - entrepreneurs . He is co-founder of Facebook Inc. , the operator of the social network of the same name , and holds a 2.34 percent stake in it.

Life

Dustin Moskovitz studied at Harvard University . On October 3, 2008, Moskovitz announced that he was leaving Facebook to start a new business. Mark Zuckerberg said: "Dustin has always had Facebook's best interest at heart and will always be someone I turn to for advice." ("Dustin always had Facebook's well-being in mind and will always be someone I will ask for advice." ) During his time at Facebook, Moskovitz was Vice President and responsible for technical staff. Most recently he worked on internal tools.

In 2011, together with his wife, Cari Tuna, Moskovitz founded the philanthropic foundation GoodVentures , which cooperated with the charity evaluator GiveWell from the following year . Both organizations identify with the goals of effective altruism .

Dustin Moskovitz now lives in San Francisco and is co-founder of the productivity tool Asana .
