Dustin Nguyen (born 1976) is a Vietnamese comic artist who won the Eisner Award twice for the series Descender .

Career

Nguyen's comic career began in 2000 with the American publisher Wildstorm . He later moved to DC Comics , where he published version 3.0 of Wildcats with Joe Casey . He worked with the likes of Ed Bubaker , Judd Winick and Scott Lobdell on the series The Authority , Batman , Superman / Batman and Detective Comics .

In 2012, Nguyen published the Vertigo miniseries American Vampires: Lord of Nightmares with the writer Scott Snyder , which made it onto the New York Times bestseller list in 2013 .

From 2015 Nguyen painted for Jeff Lemire's image comics series Descender, for which he won the Eisner Award in 2016 and 2019.
