The American Air Museum

Duxford is a town about 15 km south-east of Cambridge in the region of East Anglia in England . Here you will find the Imperial War Museum Duxford with, among other things, Douglas Bader's “Big Wing” and a former Royal Air Force airfield.

St. John's Church

One of the two churches in town is St. John's Church, which is owned by the British Churches Conservation Trust . It was built around 1100 and expanded over the centuries. The nave and tower date from the 12th century, the apse from the 13th century, the north chapel from the 14th century and the north aisle and southern entrance from the 15th century. Christian wall paintings from the 12th century were discovered in the early 21st century .
