Dvalin is a seven-piece folk metal band from Würzburg . The use of medieval instruments such as bagpipes or hurdy-gurdy is characteristic of their sound .
history
In the first year after it was founded in 2010, the septet opened live for his compatriots von Varg and soon after boarded the boards of the Bavarian Wackel Festival, which they shared with such well-known protagonists as the Excrementory Grindfuckers , Eisregen , Fiddler's Green and JBO .
In 2013 and 2014 the first recordings began, which resulted in a demo and also the first album Aus dem Schatten . Performances such as those on the main stage of the Out and Loud Festival followed, and finally a contract with NoiseArt Records was signed. On January 8, 2016, the debut album Out of the Shadow was released .
