The Excrementory Grindfuckers are a fun metal band from Hanover . Their music is characterized by the humorous - satirical mixture of pop music and German hits with grindcore .

history

The Excrementory Grindfuckers were originally founded by Him and Rob on May 22, 2001 as a recording project. Between May and October 2001 there were 30 tracks that were available for download on the band's homepage. A CD-R, titled Guts, Gore & Grind, was later put up for sale containing these pieces. With their idiosyncratic mix of catchy and well-known pop, rock and hit melodies (e.g. Europes The Final Countdown , Modern Talkings You'Re My Heart, You're My Soul , When the Saints Go Marching In and Limp Bizkits Rollin ' , Bad Religions Punk Rock Song ) and Grindcore, which is characterized by particularly fast and hard riffs, the band won many fans in the extreme metal scene . In addition to the purely musical processing of the songs, all pieces were provided with new or modified texts, and the album also contained satirical original compositions with titles such as Picnic at the zenith metaphysical reflection of the astral cowbell or Grind It Yourself .

In 2004 they released the self-produced album Ready to go, Scene cleaning! , which came up with 99 tracks and a playing time of 73:59 min and breaks covers of Marmor, Stein und Eisen , Joachim Heiders and Christian Heilburgs He belongs to me , Rudi Carrells When will it be summer again? , Metallicas For Whom the Bell Tolls and Costa Cordalis ' Anita . With this album, the band went on tour in Germany in autumn 2004 as a support act for the Apokalyptischen Reiter .

In the winter of 2006/2007 a new album was recorded (in-house production, running time 79:59 min, also 99 tracks), which was released under the title Please not in front of the guests and again independently . For the first time, cover versions and original compositions are balanced proportionally on this album. In addition to the band members, ten guest singers are represented on the album. Udo Jürgens ' Greek Wine was one of the cover versions .

In December 2007 the band released their early works by Guts, Gore & Grind again including some bonus tracks on CD.

The high level of awareness for an unlabeled band made it possible for the band to also perform live at the biggest metal festivals in Germany. a. the Wacken Open Air (2008, 2011 and 2014) and the Summer Breeze Open Air (2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017).

In summer 2010 the album Headliner der Herzen was released, which again has 99 songs and a playing time of 79:59 minutes. The proportion of cover songs decreased further compared to the previous albums, so that now 2/3 of the album consisted of own compositions.

In early 2011, the band announced on Facebook that Rufus had left the band for personal reasons. A week later, Horn from Jack Slater joined the band, who however did not remain part of the band for long and cannot be heard on any of the band's albums.

The next album without costs extra was released in May 2013 on CD and for the first time for an album by the band also on vinyl and is the first album by the band without cover versions, and various running gags of the earlier albums (such as the album length of 99 songs, Hidden Track, "How to make Grindcore" instructions) dropped.

On the occasion of the gig at Wacken Open Air 2014, the Grindfuckers Christmas album Rampampampamm! - Released Christmas with the Grindfuckers . The packaging of the album consists of a calendar that contains the texts and credits instead of the booklet that is usual for CD albums. The release was advertised with several appearances (such as at Wacken Open Air 2014, Summer Breeze 2014, Metal Frenzy 2014), and at the end of 2014 the band went on a club tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the album.

The end of 2016 appeared ahead through hectic the first album with new singer Kai. It also only contains original compositions. In addition to 22 other songs, there is also a 10-minute musical song called The Man with the Silly Mask .

In the summer of 2018 the band toured Canada and the USA for the first time, and in autumn 2018 the Fleischmarsch tour was reissued, together with Japanese combat radio plays .

Fog power

Rob and Him from the Excrementory Grindfuckers also ran a side project called Nebelmacht, which was intended as a satire on the black metal scene, but was surprisingly well received by relevant web magazines. The band's satirical content is particularly evident in the pseudo-philosophical song lyrics and an intentionally poor production . According to the band, the individual instruments were intentionally played in an extremely amateurish manner (the keyboard parts sometimes even with their feet) and the ten songs were supposedly composed and recorded in one day.

Nebelmacht's only release was an album entitled Epuchenfriede , which was released as a free download in 2002. The accompanying album cover uses the painting Mönch im Schnee by Caspar David Friedrich . Nebelmacht had a "guest appearance" on the Excrementory Grindfuckers album Ready to go, scene cleaning! with a cover version of the song Ganz in Weiß by Roy Black .
