Dwervelwind (formerly d'wervelwind , German: "the whirlwind") is a steel roller coaster of the Spinning Coaster type made by Mack Rides in the Dutch theme park Toverland . The track was built in 2012 in the northern part of the park in the De Magische Vallei theme area behind Booster Bike . As a special feature, the train has an "on-board" sound system, the first on a roller coaster of this type.

Course of the journey

After leaving the station and making a right turn, the chain lift takes the train to a height of 20 m. After the highest point there is an uneven 180 ° right-hand bend, whereupon the carriages drive down the first descent and make a left-hand bend close to the ground. This is followed by an Immelmann turn , an upward helix directed to the right, three heartline swings and a left turn. The wagons then complete a downward helix directed to the right and two more heartline dangles. Then the final braking takes place with the help of an eddy current brake. After a right turn, the train enters the station building again.

Others

Toverland commissioned the composers Andreas and Sebastian Kübler from the Paderborn music production studio IMAscore to compose and produce the background music for Dwervelwind . This can be heard in various emotionally building-up versions in the area around the roller coaster, in the queue, in the station and during the ride.
