Dyanne Thorne

Dyanne Thorne (born October 14, 1936 in Greenwich , Connecticut , † January 28, 2020 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) was an American actress .

Life

Thorne played in the early years of her career in various plays and films, according to her own words, "sexy-sweet character roles, stupid blondes and friends of gangsters". She was best known for her role as Ilsa in the film Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS and some follow-up productions.

Thorne also appeared in her films as Lahna Monroe , Rosalee Stein and Diane Thorne . Numerous actresses in other women's prison films were cast because they showed a great resemblance to Thorne and were able to draw on their fame within the scene. The planned crossover film Ilsa meets Bruce Lee in the Devil's Triangle, however, was never shot. After a break of more than 20 years, she returned to the camera in 2013 for the independent film House of the Witchdoctor and the Grindhouse film House of Forbidden Secrets (again in the role of Greta Gristina from the Ilsa films).

As early as August 1977, the men's magazine Oui wrote that Thorne was working in her hometown of Las Vegas as a kind of preacher and giving lessons in the philosophy of Religious Science for a successful life. In 2006 she owned her own chapel in Las Vegas, where she also worked as a priestess.
