The Dykeman Point is a headland on the west coast of Alexander Island off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies between the Rameau Inlet and the Verdi Inlet and marks the northwestern extension of the Pesce Peninsula .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the headland on the basis of aerial photographs of the United States Navy in the years from 1967 to 1968 and by Landsataufnahmen 1972 and 1973. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names naming it after Paul Richard Dykeman, commander of the Navy unit VXE- 6 in Antarctica from May 1981 to May 1982.
