Dylan Walker (born September 27, 1994 in Sydney , New South Wales ) is an Australian rugby league player. He plays in the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs .

Start of career

Walker began playing rugby for the Mascot Jets in the South Sydney District Junior Rugby Football League at an early age. In 2012 he played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Youth Competition and for the Australian Schoolboys.

Professional career

In 2013, Walker made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs against the Wests Tigers in round 10 , in which he put a try . He also played for the U20 team of the New South Wales Blues .

In 2014 he won the NRL Grand Final with the Rabbitohs against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and took part in the Four Nations with Australia . In the game against New Zealand , which he played, he first played as the inner three-quarters before he played as a substitute for Greg Inglis as a goalkeeper.

In 2015 he won the NRL Auckland Nines with the Rabbitohs , where he had been elected to the All-Star Team the year before. Shortly thereafter, he took part in the NRL All-Star Game for the NRL All Stars. In the game that the NRL All Stars lost 6:20, he put the only attempt for his team. Ten days later, on February 23, he won the World Club Challenge with the Rabbitohs against St Helens 39-0 , where he also put a try. In the opening game of the 2015 season between the Rabbitohs and the Brisbane Broncos , he made the first attempt of the season.
