The E-world energy & water is a trade fair for the energy and water management , held annually since 2001 in February in the Messe Essen takes place. In 2020, 813 exhibitors from 25 countries were present on more than 41,000 m² of stand space. Over 25,000 trade visitors from 67 nations came over the three days of the fair . In addition to the trade fair, there will be a specialist congress consisting of conferences , seminars and workshops . At E-world 2020, 155 specialist lectures were held in the four open specialist forums Innovation, Energy Transition, Smart Tech and Trading & Finance Forum. In addition, the "Consulate Day" will take place on the second day of the fair. This is a program specifically for ambassadors and consuls . The trade fair newspaper E-world News appears daily during the trade fair .

E-world is organized by E-world energy & water GmbH, half of which are held by Messe Essen GmbH and con | energy ag.

Career forum 

Among other things, the trade fair offers students and graduates the opportunity to get together with various companies from the energy sector. This recruiting event will take place on the third and last day of the fair. There is also a supporting program consisting of lectures and networking opportunities. The career forum focuses on professions and career opportunities in the energy industry.
