The E.ON Company Health Insurance Fund ( E.ON BKK for short ) was a company health insurance fund based in Essen . It was closed on January 1, 2017 and was included in the energy company health insurance fund.
structure
E.ON BKK was one of the smallest statutory health insurance companies in Germany with three branches and around 6300 members . She only looked after employees of the sponsoring company and their relatives.
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been uniformly stipulated by the legislature. From March 1, 2010, an additional monthly contribution of 8 euros was levied. From July 1, 2011 to December 31, 2014, no additional insurance contribution was levied. From January 1, 2015, the health fund levied an additional income-related contribution of 0.9 percent of the contributory income, which was increased to 1.1 percent on January 1, 2016.

E.ON BKK emerged from Ruhrgas BKK, which was founded on July 1, 1952. As E.ON the Ruhrgas AG took over the name of the company health insurance has changed.
