e.clips was a pay TV channel that could be received via Sky Deutschland (formerly Premiere Star) , among others . As an entertainment channel, the station reported on news from entertainment, cinema, DVDs, games and music.

e.clips started on October 1, 2007 at 6 p.m. on Premiere Star. The very first show was a Games Magazine moderated by Peter Krainer.

At the beginning of 2008, the former Preluders member Miriam Cani took over the moderation of the music formats on the station. In August 2008, the former Giga presenter Christiane Imdahl took over the moderation of Games Magazine.

An extensive relaunch took place in November 2008, during which the station's graphic appearance was completely renewed. In addition, from this point on, the broadcaster broadcast in 16: 9 and changed its program schedule.

End of broadcasting

On December 15, 2009, the broadcaster filed for bankruptcy at the Munich District Court , but broadcast operations should continue to be maintained for the time being. However, on January 7, 2010, e.clips finally stopped its distribution via the Sky platform.

The station had its own editorial team in Unterföhring, and Oliver Al Liebl was the program manager . Some of the magazines were produced externally by the Munich production company Contento GmbH on behalf of e.clips.

The shareholders of "e.clips Fernsehen GmbH" were Media Süd-Ost Beratungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH Nfg. & Co. KG, Dr. Philipp Riccabona, Kerbler Holding and DOR Film Production Company.

The station could be received via Swisscom (Bluewin TV), Teleclub , Arcor Full Entertainment, Kabel BW , LIWEST and Unitymedia .
