EKO grupė (Eng. 'Eko Group') was a large trading company in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It was also active in the food retail sector. The company managed the retail chain Ekonomija (later "Eko") and then the RIMI, "Eko", " Vikonda " and "Sustok ir pirk" stores. In 1999 "ICA AB" held 50% shares in the retail chain. In 1999 EKO grupė achieved sales of 280.689 million litas (81.3 million euros ). In 2000 the company had 13 stores and took over all of "Vikonda's" stores.
In 2000 the first business with the trademark RIMI started. In 2002 there were 37 stores. The chain was later sold to the Scandinavian company "ICA Ahold" via the company "ICA Baltic". The chain became part of RIMI Lietuva . In 2000 the company had 1,036 employees. Eko grupė later consisted of UAB “Ekovalda”, UAB “Vegida”, UAB “ Šeškinės Ekoprekyba” and UAB “Ekoprekyba”.
