The ERA-1 transmitter Athens is a transmission system of the Greek radio for medium wave broadcasting.

It is located north of Athens . From there the first program of the Greek radio will be broadcast on 729 kHz with 150 kW transmission power. A 210-meter-high steel truss mast with a triangular cross-section, insulated from the earth, is used as the transmitting antenna. This mast is one of the tallest structures in Greece.

The transmitter is of considerable importance for shipping, as it is also used to distribute sea weather reports.
