The EV Bad Wörishofen is an ice sports club from Bad Wörishofen , whose senior ice hockey team took part in what was then the third highest division.

After ice hockey was played on Lake Sonnbüchler in the 1930s, the EVW club was founded in 1954.
Between 1976 and 1995 there was a figure skating department under the umbrella of the EVW , which became the independent Bad Wörishofer Eiskunstlaufverein (EKV) .

For the first time, the senior team of the EVW rose to the 1975/76 season in the regional league , from which the team rose to the league in the 1978/79 season . The team remained in this division until the 1982/83 season . After the season, the EVW team was withdrawn into the leagues of the Bavarian Ice Sports Association. In the 1985/86 season the EVW team was able to participate in the qualification for the Regionalliga Süd and was promoted to the Regionalliga 1986/87 . After the immediate relegation succeeded again to reach the qualifying round for the Regionalliga Süd 1988/89 , but only succeeded in the qualifying round season for the Regionalliga Süd 1989/90, the promotion to the Regionalliga 1989/90 . After relegation, the Bavarian Championship and immediate promotion to the Regionalliga in 1991/92 succeeded . After the 1993/94 season , the EVW team rose again to the leagues of the Bavarian Ice Sports Association.
In the 2004/05 season, the EVW team in the Bavarian State League was able to reach the qualifying rounds for the Bavarian League in the preliminary round , but the team had to go into the relegation round due to subsequent game evaluations and did not achieve relegation. In the following season, the EVW team won the championship in the district league group IV and so also the direct promotion to the Bavarian state league. In the 2009/10 season they had to compete in the district league for another year. With the achievement of the championship in the Bavarian regional league group 4 as well as the Bavarian regional runner-up, the wolves succeeded again in the direct promotion to the Bavarian regional league , to which they belong to this day.
