The Eagle is a type of sailing catamaran from the Cat-Stadl series in Muhr am See in the Franconian Lake District . The table opposite applies to the Eagle 20 carbon.

history

Eagle 20 on the Großer Brombachsee

The first Eagle catamaran was created in 2001 as a representative of the F20HT (high-tech) class. After a long period of perfecting, this type was sold as the Eagle 20 carbon. A 15-foot ship (Eagle 15 beach) and a 16-foot ship (Eagle 16 Sport) since 2011 have been new to the program.

successes

  • 2004: The Eagle 20 carbon won the Round Texel long-distance regatta after sailing time. Hans Bouscholte and Ruurd van Wieren were sailing.
  • 2005: The Eagle 18HT won the 18HT German Open in Wasserburg on Lake Constance. Nils Bunkenburg and Kai Rosenbauer sailed.
  • 2006: The Eagle 18HT won the 18HT German Open in Muhr am Altmühlsee. Helge Sach and Thomas Regahl sailed.
  • 2009: The Eagle 18HT won all ten races of the European Championship, as well as 1st place in the open class at ROUND TEXEL. The Swiss Andi Lutz and Micca Huber sailed.

Single buildings

In 2005 the shipyard built the Eagle 20 Carbon Ocean with which the Brazilian extreme sailor Roberto Pandiani undertook an Atlantic tour that started in New Jersey in May 2005 and ended in Sisimiut in Greenland in August . In July 2011, Pandiani ordered an extremely light prototype called the Eagle 26 to use this ship to cross the North-West Passage . The ship was delivered in October 2012.
