The Eagle River ( English for " Eagle is -flow") a river in Kenora District in the southwest of the Canadian province of Ontario .
It forms the 17 km long drain of Eagle Lake . It leaves the lake on its north bank and flows in a northerly direction past the place of the same name and finally flows into the Wabigoon River, which flows west . The catchment area of the river covers about 2510 km². The mean discharge is 18 m³ / s.
