The Earn River is a right tributary of the Pelly River in the territory of Yukon in Canada .
The approximately 100 km long river has its headwaters at about 1000 m altitude in the Wilkinson Range , a range of hills that separates the catchment area of the Earn River to the north from that of the Macmillan River . The Earn River flows in a predominantly west-southwest direction. It flows through a number of lakes, including the 14 km long Stokes Lake and the 22 km long Earn Lake. South of the river, the range of hills of the Earn Hills rises . The confluence of the Earn River in the Pelly River is 35 km below that of the Tay River , 90 km northwest of Faro .
The river name is derived from the River Earn in Scotland .
