The East Gawler River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source around two kilometers west of the small town of Upper Castra . From there it flows to the north-northeast and forms the Gawler River about three kilometers northwest of the small town of Sprent together with the West Gawler River .
