The West Gawler River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source about one kilometer southeast of the settlement of South Preston . From there it flows to the north-northeast, flows through Lake Isandula and forms the Gawler River about three kilometers northwest of the small town of Sprent together with the East Gawler River .
