The Gawler River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river arises around three kilometers northwest of the small town of Sprent from the East Gawler River and the West Gawler River . From there it flows north, past the small town of Gawler , and flows into the River Leven about a kilometer west of Ulverstone .
