Eastwind Ridge is a wide, partly icy mountain range 16 km in length in the Convoy Range in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Chattahoochee Glacier and the Towle Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the mountain range using geodetic surveys and aerial photographs from the United States Navy . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after the USCGC Eastwind , an icebreaker of the US associations used in McMurdo Sound from 1958 .
