EasySCP ( Easy Server Control Panel ) is a project that aims to develop a multi-server management and administration tool. The project is based on ispCP (previously called VHCS Omega ), a fork of the VHCS project. An update is also possible from ispCP.
Differences to VHCS and ispCP
The biggest difference to VHCS and ispCP is likely to be the actual implementation of the community idea - the entire development, as we know from other open source projects, is open. From this some technical differences have already developed, such as the support of PHP as FastCGI instead of mod_php (which among other things also allows the operation of Apache HTTP Server 2.2 with the mpm-worker module ) and many other improvements in the area of security.
Supported Platforms
EasySCP runs on the popular Linux distributions CentOS , Debian , Fedora , Gentoo Linux , openSUSE , Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu . It can also run on FreeBSD and OpenBSD . With a few manual interventions, but without official support, EasySCP can also be made to run under other Linux and BSD distributions.
