Eberhard Aspacher

Eberhard Hans Aspacher (* 1949 in Backnang ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his apprenticeship in Stuttgart, positions in Germany and abroad followed from 1970. In 1972 he became the youngest master chef in West Germany.

In 1974 he became kitchen director of the Maritim in Gelsenkirchen . From 1976 to 1982 he was head chef at the Bundesbahnhotel in Ulm . He opened his own gourmet restaurant in Weyhausen in 1982 .

1984–2003 he ran the Landhotel Schlosswirtschaft in Illereichen , whose restaurant was awarded a Michelin star from 1984 for 20 years . In 1986 he founded Aspacher Gourmet Consulting and a cooking school. From 1989 to 1991 he was also managing director of the Kurhotel Allgäuer Tor in Grönenbach .

In 2012 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. In 2018 he heads several companies, such as Aspacher Gourmet Consulting .
