Eberhard Bohne

Eberhard Bohne (born July 17, 1944 in Bonn ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

Bohne studied law and political science at the Universities of Bonn and Freiburg and at the University of Wisconsin in Madison (Wisconsin / USA). At the University of Cologne he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD and Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.

In 1975 Bohne was a consultant in the Federal Ministry of the Interior , project group government and administrative reform , in 1976 he was seconded as a research assistant to the Institute for Applied Social Research at the University of Cologne and in 1977 he was seconded to a district administration . From 1978 to 1986 he was a consultant in the Federal Ministry of the Interior in the constitutional department and the environmental department. In addition, from 1979 to 1983 he was a personal assistant to State Secretary Günter Hartkopf (FDP) and in 1985 he received a scholarship from the German Marshall Fund of the United States to investigate economic air pollution control instruments in various US states. From 1987 to 1996 Bohne headed the working group "Fundamental matters of environmental law and environmental compatibility, Environmental Code" in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety ; from 1996 to 2009 he was a university professor and held the chair for administrative science, politics and law in the field of environment and energy at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer ; from 2009 to 2012 he was a professor there.

In September 2019 he was one of about 100 constitutional law teachers who made the Bundestag downsize with the open appeal for the right to vote ! turned to the German Bundestag .
