Eberhard Gärtner

Eberhard Gärtner (born September 9, 1942 in Dresden ) is a German Romanist .

Life

After his doctorate ( research on the syntax of Brazilian literary language ) in Rostock in 1974 and his habilitation in Leipzig in 1992 ( research on the structure of content and expression of simple and complex utterances in Portuguese ), he was professor of Spanish and Portuguese linguistics there from 1994 to 2007 .
