Wilhelm Jakob "Willi" Kürten (born April 4, 1908 in Düsseldorf , † July 18, 1944 in Ternopil , Soviet Union ) was a German hurdler .

biography

Willi Kürten was German runner-up in the hurdles in 1931 , 1932 and 1936 . At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , he was eliminated over 400 m hurdles in the semifinals.

Kürten died on the Eastern Front in 1944 during World War II .
