Eberhard Hamer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eberhard Hamer (born August 15, 1932 in Mettmann ) is a German economist . His focus is medium-sized business.

Life

After studying economics , theology and law , Hamer received his doctorate. After that, Hamer worked as a lawyer in a company. He then got a call to the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences , where he taught as a professor for economic and financial policy until his retirement in 1994. In the 1970s he founded the privately run SME Institute Lower Saxony in Hanover and published over 20 books on the subject of SMEs. He is the author of numerous articles.

Theories

In his SME theory, Hamer differentiates between an entrepreneur - as owner and company director - and a manager, an employed head of a company. Hamer defines all owner-managed companies as medium-sized, regardless of their size. He researches the specifics of medium-sized companies.

According to Hamer's privatization theory , the state should withdraw from the areas that the private economy can provide better and cheaper, provided that the task is fulfilled under competitive conditions. The transfer of state monopolies into private monopolies should be avoided, since both are equally damaging to the national economy.

Hamer sees the middle class as the bearer of a market economy because it is the only net donor - compared to the state-subsidized large-scale industry and the parts of the population subsidized by social benefits.

Seminar activity

In March 2013, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported on seminars held by Hamer, in which the participants should be prepared for the "collapse of the monetary system". He advocates the thesis that some wealthy families - such as "the Rothschilds" or "the Rockefellers" - have taken over the world government. Their plan is to subjugate states through heavy debt burdens. German politicians and media are followers of an ominous secret society and would therefore participate in these plans.

criticism

Several organizations founded or supported by Hamer, including the Mittelstandsinstitut Niedersachsen and the so-called vote of the majority , are accused of right-wing extremist tendencies. The Mittelstandsinstitut and Hamer himself lead in his books z. B. the financial crisis to alleged machinations of the " east coast " or the "international high finance ", the Rockefellers and Rothschilds , back. A press publication in 2008 in the Lower Saxony Economic Journal, in which Hamer was accused of “right-wing extremist rhetoric” and a proximity to right-wing conspiracy theorists , was not objected to in a court appeal in 2011. Michael Fürst, chairman of the Hanover Jewish Community, commented on the result of this process in the direction of Hamer: “There are intellectual arsonists.” In the article from 2008, one of the criticisms was that Hamer was working with Jan Udo Holey . Hamer's manuscripts were also distributed via the " State and Economic Political Society (SWG) in Hamburg, which is well-known in the right-wing scene ". Hamer also publishes in Kopp-Verlag .
