Echbeck is a suburb of the municipality of Heiligenberg in the Lake Constance district . The rural place has around 300 inhabitants with the neighboring districts. Geographically, it is at the upper, northern end of the Deggenhauser Valley . Adjacent (partial) locations are: Oberrickertsreute, Rickertsreute, Oberboßhasel, Unterboßhasel, Geisberg and Bursthof, Echbeck Castle .

There are several commercial and agricultural businesses, holiday homes, a chapel, a restaurant and a fools' association.

Culture

In Echbeck there is the annual festival "Rock am Bach". It is organized by the band "Jambala" in cooperation with the Heiligenberg community. Several bands usually perform at this festival.

Carnival is deeply rooted in Echbeck: every year there is a village carnival with fools tree places, Hemmedglonker , bonfire and other events. The association Quellgeister e.V. is formative for the Carnival in Echbeck . V.
