The castle Echbeck is an Outbound hilltop castle on a hill instead of the Chapel of St. Joseph and Mary in Echbeck , a modern district of the municipality Heiligenberg in Bodenseekreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

Presumably the castle was built by the lords of Echbeck, who were probably a patrician family from Überlingen .
