Eckart Hahn
Eckart Hahn (* 1971 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German painter .
Life
Eckart Hahn attended a basic year in photography from 1990–91 . He then studied art history from 1991 to 1993 at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and then graphic design at the Johannes Gutenberg School in Stuttgart . He lives and works in Reutlingen .

Hahn's surrealistic -looking pictures, which appear like three-dimensional collages of photo-realistic painted everyday objects, are of the perfection of the old masters. A virtuoso glaze technique gives the objects shown a metallic sheen. The alienated objects, taken out of their familiar context and assembled into collages, are presented from a central perspective . In this way, illusions are generated that are reminiscent of dream images or hallucinations .
