Eckhard Schneider (politician)

Eckhard Schneider (born March 3, 1952 in Groß Börnecke ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Eckhard Schneider attended the 10-class high school in Groß Börnecke and did an apprenticeship from 1969 to 1972. He then did military service in Mecklenburg. After further training via the second educational path, he worked from 1980 to 1986 as a manager in a private company. This was followed by the establishment of an own company for the production and wholesale of biological teaching materials and animal preparations.

Eckhard Schneider, who is of Protestant denomination, is married and has three children.

Eckhard Schneider has been a member of the CDU since 1972. After the reunification he became a member of the district board of the CDU Staßfurt in 1990, district chairman of the small and medium-sized companies association of Staßfurt and state chairman of the small and medium-sized companies in Saxony-Anhalt. He was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group and a member of the district committee in the Staßfurt district assembly. He was the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in parliament constituency Staßfurt selected (WK 27) directly into the state parliament. At the beginning of May 1993, Eckhard Schneider joined the DSU parliamentary group, after which the chairman of the DSU parliamentary group, Joachim Auer , resigned and remained non-attached for the rest of the electoral term.
