Ulrich Seidel (born May 27, 1954 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Ulrich Seidel attended the Polytechnic High School from 1960 to 1970 and did an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk with a high school diploma from 1970 to 1973 . From 1973 to 1974 he worked as a commercial clerk at VEB Holzhandel Magdeburg. 1974 to 1978 a university degree in business administration took place. From 1978 to 1984 he worked as a sector manager of the state insurance in the Magdeburg district office; From 1984 to 1989 he was head of social affairs at VEB Getränkekombinat Magdeburg, head of the combine. Ulrich Seidel has been a member of the CDU since 1983, where he was city district chairman from 1985 to 1990, a member of the party executive committee from 1990 to 1991 and, from 1990, city chairman of the CDA . From 1984 to 1990 he was a district councilor in Magdeburg-Nord. He was directly elected to the state parliament in the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in the state electoral district of Magdeburg I (WK 12).
