Ed Fury

Ed Fury (actually Edmund Holovchik ; born June 6, 1928 ) is an American bodybuilder and actor .

Life

Even at school Fury began with weight training and took since the beginning of the 1950s to bodybuilding competitions, turned narrow films on the subject and cover model was of various magazines.

His acting career began on Broadway (e.g. in Fanny (musical) ) and led to smaller roles in big budget films such as Athena (film) , Demetrius and the Gladiators or Abbott and Costello Go to Mars; later the roles became larger, but the films smaller. B. Wild Women of Wongo (1958). He also received television roles (My Little Margie).

1960 Fury left Hollywood to participate in the success of the Peplum films in Italy; there was his first film, Ursus in the realm of the Amazons . After a number of these films, he returned to the United States in the mid-1960s, but only accepted occasional roles in the following decade. His only film since 1978 is the 1996 trash movie Dinosaur Valley Girls .
