Ed Hannigan

Ed Hannigan (born August 6, 1951 ) is an American comic book author and illustrator.

Life and work

Hannigan began working full time in the comic industry in the 1970s. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he designed the then hugely popular series The Defenders for Marvel Comics . He also drew several editions of The Spectacular Spider-Man series for Marvel . He also worked as a cover artist for the Batman series produced by DC Comics (1983–1985).

In 1987 Hannigan took over the job of draftsman for the mini-series Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters written by Mike Grell and the resulting series Green Arrow , which he supervised until the early 1990s. In 1992 Hannigan presented his own creation with the three-part series Skull & Bones , which he supervised both as an author and as a draftsman.

Hannigan now lives in New Hampshire with his family.
