Edward Sean Scrutchins (* 28. July 1941 in Americus , Georgia ) is a former American American football poker players. He played one season on the position of the End for the Houston Oilers in the American Football League (AFL).

Career

Scrutchins came to Toledo in 1959 to play college football for the Toledo Rockets at the University of Toledo . In the 1963 NFL Draft , he was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the fifteenth round. After two years in the military, he played one season with the Houston Oilers in the American Football League in 1966 . After military service, he returned to the University of Toledo to graduate. He then worked for the Toledo public school system. Since 1986 he has also been the head of the sports division of Toledo's schools. Since 1993 he has been commissioner of the high school basketball league City League in Toledo, which was dissolved in 2012. After his resignation, he returned to the Toledo public school system.
