Andrzej Edward "Eddie" Niedzwiecki (born May 3, 1959 in Bangor ) is a former Welsh football goalkeeper and current coach .

life and career

Niedzwiecki began his career at AFC Wrexham when he was 14 . In total, the goalkeeper stayed with the Welsh club for six years. In the summer of 1983 he moved to Chelsea . With the Blues he played until 1988 and rose with them to the top English league. At the age of 28 he ended his career due to several injuries. Internationally, Niedzwiecki played twice for the Welsh national team . After his playing career, he was still assistant coach at Chelsea FC, coach of the reserve team at Arsenal FC and also assistant coach for the Welsh team and Blackburn Rovers . Since 1999 he has been part of the coaching staff of Mark Hughes , who is at the side as an assistant coach at all stations.
