Lo-Fi-Fnk is a Swedish dance duo from Stockholm , consisting of Leonard Drougge and August Hellsing.

history

Lo-Fi-Fnk was founded in 2001 by Leonard Drougge and August Hellsing. They chose the band name in order to oppose the, in their opinion, oversized and “technological” (“ Hi-Fi ”) dance genre with a rather minimalist style (“ Lo-Fi ”), which is also based on funk .

Band members

At live concerts, the two musicians cannot play all the instruments themselves, so they are supported by Link Drougge (drums) and Maja Gödicke (vocals).
