Eddy Cue

Eddy Cue (born October 1964 ) is an American manager and, as Apple's senior vice president, is responsible for the company's online services.

Career

Cue is of Cuban descent and grew up in the US state of Florida . He studied computer science and economics at Duke University .

After graduating, he started working for Apple in 1989, initially as a manager in customer service and various software teams. In 1998 he was involved in the launch of Apple's online store and later in the creation of the iTunes Music Store .

Since August 2008, Cue has been responsible for the App Store and the MobileMe (later iCloud ) online service in addition to iTunes . In September 2011, Cue was named senior vice president . After Scott Forstall was fired in the fall of 2012, Cue also took on responsibility for Apple Maps and Siri , making him responsible for all of Apple's online services.

In addition to his work at Apple, Cue is a member of the Ferrari Board of Directors .
