Edgar B. Pusch

Edgar Bruno Pusch (* 1946 ) is a German Egyptologist .

Life

Pusch studied Egyptology and was in 1975 at the University of Bonn with a thesis Senet - Board Game in Ancient Egypt doctorate .

Edgar B. Pusch worked for many years as an excavator for the Roemer and Pelizaeus Museum in Hildesheim in Egypt . Together with Manfred Bietak , he succeeded in proving Pi-Ramesse during the excavations that took place in Qantir , Egypt from 1980 . With these digs, the use of geomagnetics in archeology was revived.
