Edgar James Joint

Sir Edgar James Joint , KCMG , OBE (1955) ( 7 May 1902 , † 1981 ) was a British diplomat . From 1956 to 1960 he was the British ambassador to Colombia .

Life

Edgar James Joint was hired as a boy clerk in the Foreign Office's Overseas Trade Division on January 7, 1918 . On October 28, 1919 he became an assistant clerk.

In 1948 Edgar James was Joint Counselor (Commercial) at the Embassy in Brussels .
