Edgar Mielke

Edgar Mielke (born April 19, 1962 in Altena ) is a German football and motorsport commentator .

Career

Mielke was born in Altena, a small town in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . Mielke made a name for himself as a commentator for motorsport , especially MotoGP . He has been a commentator and reporter since 1990. He started at RTL as a field reporter, but before the turn of the millennium he switched to the commentator's field of activity. He commented on and moderated football broadcasts for ARD and arena . From 1999 to 2003 he was a presenter in the sports club on NDR television . Since 2006 he has been working for SPORT1 , then DSF , and comments on MotoGP races and football matches. He is also for LIGAtotal! in action.

He was featured as a commentator in the video game MotoGP 13 .

Mielke took part in the VW Scirocco Cup - Eurospeedway sporadically in 2010 and 2011 .

Edgar Mielke has been commenting on the DTM on Sat.1 since 2018 , which new TV partners are together with Ran. In Austria, the DTM has recently also been broadcast on ORF . He has also been active at DAZN since 2019 and comments on the MotoGP races.
