Edgar Ramírez Ríos (born November 3, 1998 ) is a Mexican athlete who specializes in the 400-meter distance .

Athletic career

Edgar Ramírez Ríos gained his first international experience in 2015 at the Youth World Championships in Cali , where he reached the semifinals and was eliminated there with 49.01 seconds. In 2017 he finished fifth in the Pan American U20 Championships in Trujillo in 47.23 seconds and in 2019 he won the Summer Universiade in Naples with the Mexican 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 02.89 minutes .
