Edgardo Carlos Suárez Mallagray (* 1968 ) is an ambassador from El Salvador .

Life

Suárez Mallagray studied industrial manufacturing.

On October 4, 2000, he was accredited as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Berlin . In the course of almost ten years as ambassador in Berlin, he was simultaneously accredited to the governments in Warsaw , Prague , Ankara and Bratislava . On March 18, 2010, he was accredited by Juan Carlos I in Spain .

Since Suárez was also appointed as ambassador by the Mauricio Funes government , the question arose whether he was a civil service ambassador in contrast to a political ambassador. He answered the question with a pun :

"No soy embajador de carrera soy embajador a la carrera"

In Madrid , too, the handwriting of a competent technocrat can be seen in his administration .
