The Edisto Inlet (formerly Edisto Bay ) is a rectangular branch of the Moubray Bay on the Borchgrevink coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Hallett Peninsula to the east and the rest of the mainland coast. The entrance to this bay is limited to the west by Cape Christie and to the east by Cape Hallett .
It is named after the USCGC Edisto , one of the ships in Operation Highjump (1946–1947).
