Edith Haller (born July 24, 1944 in Kufstein ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Haller was a member of the National Council from 1990 to 2002 .

Haller attended elementary and secondary school in Kufstein from 1950 to 1958 and then until 1960 the commercial school in Schwaz . Between 1960 and 1964 she worked as a commercial clerk in the private sector and then worked in the trading company of her in-laws and / or her husband in accounting and purchasing goods.

Haller began her political career in community politics. She was a member of the Kufstein municipal council from 1980 to 1992 and a city councilor between 1986 and 1990. Haller also held numerous functions in the district, state and federal party. From 1989 to 1993 she was the managing district party leader of the FPÖ Kufstein and from 1995 to 1999 district party leader. In the state party she was a member of the state party executive from 1987, in 1989 she was a member of the state party presidium and from 1992 a member of the state party leadership. In the federal party, she was the federal party chairman's deputy between 1992 and 1999, and from 1992 she also held the position of a member of the federal party executive committee. Haller was also chairwoman of the Freedom Family Association in Tyrol and from 1985 to 1989 a member of the regional school board .

Haller represented the FPÖ from November 5, 1990 to December 19, 2002 in the National Council.
