Medal of Merit of the State of Tyrol
The State of Tyrol's Medal of Merit is a state award from the State of Tyrol , which is awarded for special social achievements. It is a bronze-gold-plated round medal , which shows the Tyrolean eagle on the front and the inscription "For Merit for the State of Tyrol" on the back and is surrounded by a laurel wreath . It can be worn on the left side of the chest on a white and red triangular ribbon, which is connected to the medal by an intermediate piece decorated with ears and vine leaves. The number of honors each year is limited to 192.
With “Land Tirol” we mean North and South Tyrol . The award will therefore be presented jointly by the two Tyrolean governors on August 15th.
