Edmond Borchard
Edmond Borchard (born July 28, 1848 in Bordeaux , Gironde department , † March 21, 1922 in Paris ) was a French painter.
Life
Borchard studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was there a. a. Student of the painter Alexandre Cabanel . With his support, Borchard was soon admitted to the major exhibitions of the Salon de Paris . On the occasion of the annual exhibition in 1899, one of his works was awarded a “médaille de seconde classe”.
